Material and production

The lampshade is 3D-printed in a biopolymer derived from sugar cane. Originally developed for food packaging, the material is recycled into filament for additive manufacturing, enabling a low-waste production process.

The fitting is laser-cut from recycled aluminium sourced from beverage cans and finished in anodized black or white. Alternative versions are available in brass, copper or steel. All components are designed for disassembly, allowing materials to be separated and recycled individually.

Printed individually — one unit per machine per day — to ensure consistent quality. Manufactured in Copenhagen.
