Vertical Soft Structure

Vertical Soft Structure is a residential high-rise proposal exploring how ornament, light, and digital fabrication can become integrated parts of the building facade. The project combines a steel and glass structure with vertically repeated 3D-printed bioplastic elements containing integrated linear LED lighting. Acting as both facade system and atmospheric layer, the translucent elements create changing reflections, depth, and light across the building throughout the day and night. The project investigates how digitally fabricated components can introduce softness, identity, and material presence into contemporary urban architecture.
